MY PROJECTS
What I’ve Done
EL PASO'S BEST BANK PROJECT
A bank system that can be managed by customers and bank managers.
Bank System Summary:
Customers are able to create accounts, make transactions, inquire balance.
Managers can view customer's info and create bank statements.
Object Types:
Abstract Persons and Accounts
Interface for Logs
Design:
Customers are stored in a HashMap for efficient access.
Program is closed for modification but open for extension.

UBER DRIVER SIMULATION
A simulation from an Uber Driver's perspective.
UberUser objects are stored in a priority queue.
A timer keeps track of how long the driver was driving, and when to drop off the UberUser.
This project demonstrated material covered in Data Structures and Algorithms courses.

STUDENT PROJECT
Conducted an independent study as a Project Lead the Way student.
The project was completely documented in an engineering notebook from 2016 to 2017.
It involved researching the problem, surveying over 100 people around the world, designing and manufacturing a prototype, and presenting it to a group of judges in the engineering industry.
The independent study provided experience in each step in the engineering process. It highlighted which part of the process is more enjoyable, and which part needs some improvement.

MY EXPERIENCE
Background & Expertise

MARSHALL'S TEMPORARY RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
November 2019 - January 2020
Worked in Men’s, Kid’s, Babies’, and Toy’s Sections.
Duties: Setup displays, recovered the sales floor, reserved items from fitting rooms and returns.
Customer Service: Sales floor, fitting rooms, and phone assistance.

LIBRARY WORK-STUDY, EL PASO COMMUNITY COLLEGE
September 2017 - May 2019
Shelf books, movies, and organize the shelfs. Organize and do daily rotations of periodicals.
Pick-up/drop-off mail.
Stock the printers.
Help students, teachers, and community users.
While working at the library, improving the periodical circulation system into a more efficient way of doing it was goal of mine. Once completed, this reduced space and improved the time it took to accomplish. This was done by changing the layout of the periodicals, labeling assigned locations, and removing any access objects in the area.

SUN CITY SOUND INDEPENDENT PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE - CYMBALS
2018
Sun City Sound’s first year
Cymbal Player - first year marching
Ensemble competed and won 1st place twice in Winter Guard International at Arizona and Winter Guard Arizona
Being a part of this brand-new ensemble tested communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. It forced superior time management skills, as it took place during the first year of college.
